Multidisciplinary Moroccan artist, Mohssin Harraki lives and works in Paris. His work, in an impressive range of different media, is concerned with Morocco's cultural and political history as well with issues surrounding genealogy and the transmission of power, the birth of nationalistic ideologies and the formation of a collective conscience. 

 

'Arbre Genealogique No 00051' is a visual representation of the Moroccan royal family tree, albeit with significant omissions. The names of all of the female members of the family are missing, highlighting the blatant occlusion of women from Arabian royal history.
